It can disarm guilt, shatter shame, and put your past in its place. All you have to do is make the choice to let it in. It won’t be easy. It won’t be quick. But it is possible and we serve a God who promises over and over again that anything is possible.
Pete Wilson, pastor and the author of Plan B, presents a new look at the power of healing through hope, revealing 4 unique choices that have the potential to change your life forever.
With Wilson’s telltale cadence and candor, Let Hope In explores accounts of seemingly hopeless moments in the Bible; illustrating God’s ultimate plan for healing by letting hope fill the dark places of your past.
Discover how pain that is not transformed, becomes transferred. Embrace the freedom of being okay with not being okay. Learn that a life of trusting is far more magnificent than a life of pleasing. Because hurt people, hurt people, but free people have the power to free people.
So make today the day that you get unstuck. The day you fill your past with the light of hope, the day you say good-bye to regret and shame. The day you choose to change your future and embrace who God created you to be, simply by making the choice to let hope in.
After reading this once, I quickly knew that my copy would become well-worn. Pete tells the truth in such a profound, yet relatable way, giving practical choices that will bring true healing and freedom to so many. Let Hope In is a powerful reminder that God can redeem and transform any situation, and that change really is possible.”

I feel like Pete Wilson writing about hope is like Max Lucado writing about grace. It reads like a conversation with a friend who has been down the road you’re on and knows which potholes to avoid and which vistas not to miss.”

Pete Wilson is the founding and senior pastor of Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee, a committed church community that he and his wife, Brandi, planted in 2003. Over the course of 11 years, Cross Point has grown to reach more than 5,000 people each weekend through its four campuses located around the Nashville area, and online.
As one of the fastest growing churches in America, Pete’s ministry–an outreach focused on helping people become devoted to Christ, irrevocably committed to each other, and relentlessly dedicated to reaching those outside of God’s family with the Gospel–has made Pete a frequent speaker at national and international church conferences.
Pete gained national attention in 2010 when Thomas Nelson published his best-selling book, Plan B, a title that has been printed in five languages and launched Putting Plan B into Action, a 6-week DVD curriculum that serves as a study compan- ion to the book. Empty Promises, Pete’s much-anticipated second book, focuses on the human desire to find purpose and hope in things that are not God. By writing honestly and transparently, Pete looks to help the reader identify their own inclination to drift toward putting their identity in other things and offer them a wake-up call to find their meaning in Christ alone.
Pete is also an avid blogger (www.PeteWilson.tv); he enjoys the outdoors and Titans football. When he’s looking for rest, you can often find Pete working in his garden, hanging out with his wife, Brandi, or playing outside with their three boys.
I think it’s important for people to know that my first desire, my first calling, is to be a pastor. I’m a pastor who happens to write books. Not the other way around. So when I write I always have the church in mind. I’m always thinking about the different groups that make up our community whether it’s the person who has yet to commit to a relationship with Jesus or whether it’s the church member who has been following Christ longer than I’ve been alive.
As I was writing Let Hope In, I knew from the beginning that this content would make a powerful sermon series for us here at Cross Point church. I also felt that the nature of the material would fit perfectly for a January/New Year series. So even though the book comes out in October, we’re not actually going to do the Let Hope In series until January.
The resources we’ve prepared for this series are available to anyone, and if your church would like to do the series with us in January, we'd love for you to join. We're offering all the resources that we'll have at our church for free. It will include everything from videos (promo sermons series videos, bumpers, trailers), Sermon Manuscripts, Graphics (invite cards, lower thirds, full screen slides, etc), and more.
